BACHELOR OF COMMERCE - B.Com. (Hons.)


The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. (Hons.)) offered under ICCMRT Academy of Higher Studies is a 3 – year regular degree programme approved by the UGC and affiliated to University of Lucknow. Students who wish to take up their career in business and accounting fields are encouraged to join this course where they will be given focused inputs in areas such as commerce, office management, financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, insurance etc. The curriculum developed as per the guidelines of University of Lucknow lays emphasis on the development of commerce and accounting skills to cater the market needs that could fetch better placement opportunities to the students.

PROGRAMME PEDAGOGY

The under graduate programmes (BBA and B.Com. (Hons.)) offered by the academy have been designed as per the guidelines of the University of Lucknow to provide the students a wide range of theoretical cum practical knowledge in the subject areas chosen by them. The emphasis is given on a well balanced pedagogic approach that consist the classroom as well as the non-classroom teaching. The Classroom teaching consists of lectures, case studies, business games and group discussion. The non-class room curriculum consists of assignments and projects which provide opportunities to the students to practically apply their learning and knowledge to the work situations within and outside the academy.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA


Intermediate (10+2) Passed either in Commerce, Economics or Mathematics as one of the subject with minimum 60% marks in aggregate for general and OBC. For SC/ST students, minimum 55% marks in aggregate at Intermediate (10+2) level
